OpenBuildings Designer delivers a special steel and concrete column schedule drawing template; Analysis Column Schedule Template, which is used to generate the steel and concrete column schedule drawings. OpenBuildings Designer copies the template, renames it to Steel Column Schedule Report and Concrete Column Schedule Report, and calculates the columns schedule drawings based on two special 3D column schedule layout models.

• There can only be one Steel Column Schedule Report drawing and one Concrete Column Schedule drawing for a Structural model.
• The Source Model Name of the Steel Column Schedule Report and Concrete Column Schedule Report drawing definitions are set to Steel Column Schedule 3D Model and Concrete Column Schedule 3D Model. The column schedule drawings are extracted from these models.
• The section cut properties are based on the extents of the special 3D column models. The section cut polygon, forward view distance and direction vectors are set based on the extents of these models as well. Since the 3D column models are regenerated as needed the section properties may also change.
